The Caregiving Youth Advisory Council provides non-binding, subject-matter guidance to support the integrity and ethical stewardship of the Caregiving Youth Recognition Framework.

Role Of The Advisory Council

The Council may:

Advise on definitions, standards, and best practices

Provide lived-experience and professional insight

Support alignment with education and community systems

Inform ethical and inclusive implementation

Governance Boundaries
The Advisory Council:

Holds no fiduciary responsibility

Exercises no governance authority

Does not direct MCWEF policy or operations
-
Serves strictly in an advisory capacity

Composition
Members may include:

Educators and school administrators
-
Military family advocates
-
Youth development experts
-
Policy and research professionals
-
Individuals with lived caregiving experience
All members serve voluntarily.

Public Transparency
Council members may be listed publicly with the designation:
Serving in a non-fiduciary, advisory capacity.
