OUR APPROACH

Education Access is a core initiative of the Military Child World Expo Foundation, designed to ensure students and families can connect directly with colleges, universities, community colleges, and scholarship-granting institutions.

This work supports:

  • Military-connected youth

  • First-generation college aspirants

  • Teen caregivers and non-caregivers

  • Civilian students seeking postsecondary opportunity

Caregiving and service are formally recognized through Turn Care Into Credit, but Education Access is open to all students.

SCHOLARSHIP & PATHWAYS ROW

Featured Program | MCWE 2026

The Scholarship & Pathways Row is a dedicated engagement space at the Military Child World Expo connecting students and families with higher-education institutions and scholarship organizations.

This is not a traditional college fair. Institutions engage students through the lens of:

  • Leadership and service

  • Identity and belonging

  • Access and opportunity

WHY EDUCATION ACCESS MATTER

Academic potential is not defined by test scores alone.

Leadership, responsibility, service, caregiving, and identity are powerful indicators of readiness. Education Access ensures those qualities are recognized, valued, and translated into opportunity.

This initiative moves beyond awareness toward direct pathways and outcomes.
