Caregiving Youth Recognition Framework
Framework Overview | National Registry | Advisory Council
The Caregiving Youth Recognition Framework establishes a national, non-clinical standard for recognizing youth who provide ongoing caregiving within their households, with particular attention to military-connected families.

Stewarded by the Military Child World Expo Foundation, the Framework addresses a documented national gap by defining caregiving youth contributions, establishing ethical recognition standards, and supporting responsible public acknowledgment, without creating mandates, diagnoses, or service obligations.

The Framework functions as a national civic infrastructure, independent of any single program or locality, and is designed to align with education systems, community institutions, and future federal awareness efforts.
