The Military Child World Expo Foundation welcomes artists, leaders, and public figures who wish to stand with military-connected children and families in recognition of their service, resilience, and contributions to our nation’s future.

THE INITIATIVE: HOME OF THE MILITARY CHILD

The Home of the Military Child is a year-round national identity anchored in Arlington, Virginia, and stewarded by the Military Child World Expo Foundation. It represents a shared commitment among families, educators, Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs), civic leaders, and community partners to ensure military-connected children are seen, supported, and celebrated.

The annual Military Child World Expo serves as the public convening moment for this mission.



WHO THIS IS FOR

This invitation is extended to individuals who align with one or more of the following values:

  • Support for military families and veterans

  • Advocacy for children and youth

  • Commitment to education, caregiving, or service

  • Interest in civic leadership and legacy initiatives

  • Alignment with America’s 250th anniversary themes

This includes, but is not limited to, artists, athletes, authors, cultural leaders, veterans in the public sphere, and philanthropic voices.

WHAT ENGAGEMENT MAY LOOK LIKE (OPTIONAL & FLEXIBLE)

Engagement is voluntary, non-political, and non-commercial, and may include one or more of the following:

  • Being listed as an Honorary Supporter of the Home of the Military Child

  • Providing a brief written statement or quote supporting military children

  • Recording a short message (30–60 seconds) for youth and families

  • Participating in a limited, pre-approved public acknowledgment

  • Supporting awareness efforts privately or publicly, at the individual’s discretion

No appearance, fundraising, or endorsement obligation is required.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

To ensure clarity and protect all parties, this engagement does not involve:

  • Political advocacy or lobbying

  • Commercial endorsements

  • Mandatory event appearances

  • Social media posting requirements

  • Use of name or likeness without explicit consent

All participation is coordinated respectfully and transparently.

WHY NOW

As the nation prepares for America’s 250th anniversary, there is a renewed focus on legacy, service, and the next generation of leaders. Military-connected children are uniquely positioned at the intersection of service and future civic leadership.


Public figures who choose to stand with military children help affirm a national message: service begins at home, and the next generation carries the torch forward.
